Nanami Endo (b. 1997, Tokyo) is a Tokyo-based artist working across dance and performance. She began dancing in elementary school, training in aerobics, hip-hop, jazz dance, and classical ballet. During her secondary school years she encountered theater, and later contemporary dance while studying at university. She graduated in 2020 from the Department of Body Expression and Cinematic Arts, College of Contemporary Psychology at Rikkyo University.
Her practice focuses on the “already choreographed body” embedded in everyday life. In recent years, she has developed performances that incorporate cooking and shared eating, exploring how daily rituals and social behaviors shape the body and relationships between people.
Alongside her artistic work, she is also active in performing arts production and project planning. She explores communication at the intersection of art and food.
